Since our official opening in September 2023, we have been lucky enough to create delightful memories for our guests, from overseas and home, who might choose us as their weekend romantic getaway; as their first or last stop of their Honeymoon in New Zealand; or to look for a special place to celebrate their commitment to respect, love, surprise and spoil each other. We are so grateful that some of our guests have already booked to come back to this year’s anniversary!
Our cozy fireplace is one of the most popular lounging areas for our guests to have a drink, play some games, watch a movie, and simply relax.
Our outdoor heated spa pool is also one of the lovebirds’ favourite spots to enjoy the rolling Waikato hills and endless tranquillity during the day and romantic starry night in the evening.
When staying in one of our elegantly furnished Deluxe Suite rooms, you can enjoy a drink with your partner on the outdoor deck overlooking the picturesque landscape at any time.
One of Te Karaka Station & Lodge’s must-have experiences is our Gourmet Dining Experience. Our 3-course Fine Dining is the definition of creativity, celebration and indulgence, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We can also pair each course with a selection of fine wines, enhancing the dining experience, should you choose to make the night even more memorable.
We also recommend booking a romantic beach picnic during your stay. Our Lodge Managers will drive you to the secluded black sand beach, and set up a gorgeous picnic spread for you and your better half to enjoy in private for a few hours before coming to pick you up. You literally don’t have to worry about a thing!
