Once you get off SH1, a unique rural scenic drive awaits. The rolling hills, grazing animals, and limestone formations on the sides of the roads create the authentic experience of New Zealand's rural driving adventure.
We recommend you arrive before 4 pm to have enough time to settle in, jump into the outdoor spa pool or start a board game or two with your family, before getting ready for the lovely family dinner.
Dinner is usually at 6:30 pm, but we are happy to adjust for your group as long as you let us know your schedule in advance.
Our three-course “Trust the Chef” menu is prepared to meet the highest culinary experience and standards, and we guarantee to bring a “WOW” factor to your trip.
If you prefer family-style dinners, our chef and team are also more than happy to make you the most delicious and elevated “Home Cooking”.

A private farm tour with our farm manager James has always been our guests’ favourite. If you’d like to have a shearing demonstration, let us know as we need a few days in advance to prepare the lambs! We also have two nicely marked and beginner-friendly walking tracks that will take you to an advantageous point to view the lodge and the entire station.
